Polventon Bay〔Ordinance Survey〕 ((コーンウォール語:Poll Fenton), meaning ''pool of a spring''), Mother Ivy's Bay, or Mother Ivey's Bay is a bay with a beach near Padstow in Cornwall, England, UK.
The name Mother Ivey's Bay first appears in 1870〔Weatherhill C. (2007) ''Cornish Place Names and Language''. Ammanford: Sigma Press〕 and is named after a local wisewoman and white witch.〔("Cameron holiday destination cursed by white witch" ), ''The Guardian'', 23 July 2008〕
